The Challenge
Washington University required the replacement of an aging 12-story concrete dormitory with a modern, student-focused housing solution. The project involved the controlled demolition of Eliot Hall by implosion to make way for new construction.
The Solution
Rick led the successful delivery of a $9 million, 4-story wood-framed dormitory housing 177 student beds. The team coordinated the complex demolition and new build in a high-traffic university environment, ensuring minimal disruption to campus life while enhancing student living standards.
