The Challenge

This project required a comprehensive transformation of approximately 15,000 square feet of existing space to modernize and enhance a highly utilized university library, along with adjacent classrooms and administrative offices. As a central academic resource with constant daily traffic, the facility remained fully operational throughout the five-month construction schedule, introducing a heightened level of complexity. Maintaining uninterrupted access for students, faculty, and staff required meticulous phasing and scheduling to minimize disruption to study environments and instructional spaces.
