The Challenge
To expand regional transit access, the MetroLink system required a complex extension project through a high-traffic corridor. The work needed to minimize disruption while upgrading major transportation infrastructure.
The Solution
Rick supported the $90 million Cross County MetroLink Extension, which included demolition and reconstruction of Forest Park Parkway, construction of a new Metrolink tunnel, two new passenger stations, and replacement of two existing bridges—all delivered to improve commuter access and long-term transit efficiency.
